An elderly man was arrested on a charge of child p****graphy possession after allegedly being caught visiting child p****graphy websites, police in the United Arab Emirates said. Abu Dhabi police said that they have arrested the 70-year-old man, who was not identified, after he was caught accessing child p****graphy websites from his home computer.
During questioning, the elderly man claimed that he did not know that his actions were illegal. He also claimed that he stumbled upon the child p****graphy websites and did not deliberately visit them.
However, investigators said that the suspect used proxy software in order to hide his tracks. The suspect was caught after the police monitored the traffic of the child p****graphy websites. If convicted, the suspect faces up to three years in prison and a fine of up to $275,000. Police said that they are currently questioning several people who were caught accessing child p****graphy websites.
