Managing Director of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Warri, Delta State, Chief William Makinde, weekend, assured that the organization would train at least 20 pilots during his tenure despite dwindling allocation to the state.

“Before my tenure will come to an end, the commission must produce not less than 20 commercial pilots. The managing director also said that the commission would adopt 50-50 ratio for both men and women in its youth development programme, adding that the present board of the commission would review and complete viable projects inherited from the previous board and also execute new projects.
